5. Thursday, April 26th. FIFTH ANNUAL "LOSE THE SHOES" 3V3 BAREFOOT SOCCER TOURNAMENT. Yeah, it's the big one. Modeled in the format of UEFA Euro 2012, mark your calendars because you DO NOT want to miss out this year! More details below:

32 spots are available for teams to participate in the tournament--these 32 teams have the chance to pick from the 32 clubs playing in the UEFA Euro 2012! Registration and team choice is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so hurry up and register your team!

The tournament is open to anyone and everyone. Teams must consist of a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 6 members--games are 3v3 and there must be at least 1 female player from each team on the field at all times!

If you have any difficulties finding a female player, you may register and we will do our best to help find a member to complete your team. If you do not have a team, you may also email us and we will try to find you a team!

To participate, we require a minimum donation of $10 per participant. Larger donations are encouraged, as all proceeds go to help (RED)TM and Grassroot Soccer's efforts in Africa.

There will also be music, refreshments and prizes drawn for everyone! The top 3 teams will also receive prizes, and so will the biggest donor and best players in the tournament!l

The tournament takes place on April 26th, 2012 at the Rashpal Dhillon Track and Field Oval at the University of British Columbia. It will run (tentatively) from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
